Registration:
Current Students may reserve lesson times for the Fall 2021 session beginning August 23, 2021. Reserve a lesson time by logging in to My Music Staff, navigating to the week of September 6 on the calendar, selecting an open time, entering the student's name in the "current attendees" box, and then clicking on the "Future Events" button. Lessons are weekly 1/2 hour time slots except by prior arrangement, and registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each student in the same family must be registered in their own time slot. Fall session begins the week of September 6, 2021 unless prior arrangements are made.
New students must first enroll in the studio by completing the New Student Sign-Up from the main LH Piano Studio menu.
Tuition & Late Fees:
$110 fixed rate per month payable on or before the 7th of the month via check, Chase QuickPay, or Zelle. Invoices for upcoming months are emailed 7 days before the start of the new month. A late fee of $10 is assess for invoices not paid by the 7th of the month. Monthly Performance Group lessons (details below) are free.
Refunds & Credits:
No tuition refunds given. Tuition credits are only issued when lessons are cancelled due to power or internet outages or instructor illness/injury.
Make-up Lessons & Lesson Swapping:
Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged for students to learn, retain, and progress. Make-up lessons are not offered.
Clients may swap their student's lesson time with another student when occasional scheduling conflicts arise. A list of lesson times & contact information will be published in a Google Doc for the reference of all members of the studio. It is the responsibility of the party requesting the swap to notify the instructor about the swap. You must opt out prior to the start of the Fall Session if you do not want your contact information to be published on the swap list.
Group Lessons:
Monthly Performance Group Lessons are free, 30-45 minutes in length, and provide students an opportunity to play for one another and receive feedback. These lesson dates will be noted on the Studio Calendar (on this website under the Details menu) and on the My Music Staff calendar once all students have registered for the Fall 2021 session. Group lessons will be cancelled when fewer than three students register.
Withdrawal from Studio:
To weeks' notice is required for withdrawal from the studio. When notice of intent to withdraw is given in the first half of the month, 50% of prepaid tuition for that month will be refunded.
