Music Acquisition:

Curricular & supplemental books and/or sheet music are recommended by the instructor and for on-line students, are the responsibility of the parent to purchase. Some music will be provided students from the instructor's digital library and shared with the student via a shared Google Drive folder. Parents will be notified how to access these. Students may be assigned work from the instructor's personal print music library. A music drop box will be available on the instructor's porch to pick up books being loaned or printed copies of music when using the Google Drive is not preferred. Books lent to students are listed in their account at My Music Staff. Copyright laws prohibit photocopies or distribution of non-site-licensed digital materials.

Recitals:

Formal recitals are held in spring. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory. Check the 2020/21 Calendar after the first of the year for more information. Informal recitals are held occasionally throughout the year, see the Studio Calendar. 

Curriculum:

Various curricular materials are used as the foundation for learning. Supplemental materials are also used to accommodate students' needs and learning styles. Interactive tools such as apps, worksheets, and games are incorporated into lessons.
